Note that you can select a satellite in the same section of the main menu. You can change your companion at any time, but you will need to wait a bit before he comes to you. Why change them at all? The fact is that they all have unique abilities and skills. Some are better suited to distract opponents (we recommend using in stealth mode), while others do considerable damage in open combat.
Guapo (crocodile)
How to get Guapo
It can be obtained automatically almost at the very beginning of the game. Just go through the main tasks. The alligator will become your companion in the third story mission called «Juan is so alone.» The screenshots below show where it starts.

- Control over the body — regeneration of hit points occurs automatically.
- Cornered Beast — When a reptile's health drops below 50 percent, it gains additional protection.
- Reptile metabolism (to unlock the ability, you need to eliminate at least 50 opponents with the help of a crocodile) — the companion regains consciousness and restores 90 percent of his lives.
Chorizo (small dog)
How to get Chorizo
You can take him to your squad by completing a series of missions. First of all, you will need to unlock the camp in Madrugada by completing the «Meet Montero» quest. After that, head there and find a small puppy with no hind legs.
You should have an icon for a new Yaransk story called «Who is a good boy?» Pet the dog and give him a piece of meat to complete the mission. After that, the quest «Treasure of the Dog» starts, within which you have to search and examine the boxes buried in the ground.
As soon as you complete this operation, Chorizo will immediately become your next companion. He has the following unique skills:
- Snooper (to open, distract 10 opponents with the help of a dog) — allows you to mark components on the map that are close to the hero.
- Yes, you can iron (mark at least 36 loot chests with the dog to open) — pat Chorizo to restore hit points.
- Keen instinct (to open, heal with the dog at least fifty times) — Chorizo will regularly dig up resources for you.
Chicharron (rooster)

To unlock this partner, you have to complete several Yaran stories in the El Este region. Head to Alvarez Farm, located in the Vasia Coast municipality, and chat with Reinaldo there to begin the quest «The Best Enemy of Man.» The screenshots below show the location of the desired character.
After completing this task, go through the next mission called «Red Rooster». Then complete the last quest in the Under the Wing chain. These tasks start automatically, so you don't have to look for anything. When you pass them, Chicharron will become your new Amigo. He possesses the following unique skills:
- Steroid Fury (requires killing 12 opponents with a rooster to open) — Chicharron starts attacking faster and does twice as much damage after his hit scale drops to 70 percent and below.
- A very angry bird (to open, you need to kill 24 opponents with a rooster, when he is in steroid rage mode) — starts knocking opponents down.
How to Get Boom Booms
You can unlock this pet by completing the All or Nothing side mission. To get it, you need to go to the Maximas camp, located in the «Cienaga Nublada» nature reserve and which opens after you free Talia in the main task «Meet Maximas Matanzas».
After taking the task, head to the indicated town located in Valle de Oro and inspect the blue containers in the covered depot. One of them will be blocked — shoot at the lock to open the door and find a new partner. The screenshots below show its exact location.
Note: Apparently, it is not necessary to take the task to free the dog — you can immediately go to the specified location and open the container.
This companion has a number of original skills, namely:
- Target designator (to open it, you need to pick up materials from 10 bodies with the help of a dog) — you will have the opportunity to mark creatures on the screen.
- Experienced hunter (to unlock it, mark 24 creatures with the help of a dog) — the range of marking targets is increased.
- Thick hide (to open it, mark 50 enemies with the help of a dog) — the health of the companion increases.
Oluso (panther)
How to get Oluso
To unlock the last beast, you need to complete the additional mission «Blessings of the Triad», where you will need to find three relics and deal with the guardian spirit in the Oluva cave. In a separate guide, we described in detail the passage of the corresponding task.
This panther has the following unique skills:
- Luck past Abosi (to unlock it, you need to eliminate 12 opponents in forbidden area with the help of a panther) — increases the likelihood of a successful quick kill.
- Ida's Wrath (to open it you need to perform two quick kills) — when performing a quick kill, nearby opponents scatter in fear.
- Fog of the Oku (to open it, you need to scare 50 opponents with a panther) — when the animal's life scale drops to 50 percent and below, fog appears around it, which makes it invulnerable to attacks. In addition, Oluso begins to quickly regenerate life and becomes more invisible.
